LiveUS LNG investment decisions
Since March 2026 three large US export projects have reached final investment decision: Phase 2 of CP2 LNG on 13 March, Commonwealth LNG on 15 May and Delfin's first floating liquefaction vessel on 3 June, with start-ups scheduled for 2030 and 2031.

Why it matters
The projects sanctioned in 2026 will shape US gas demand and global LNG supply into the 2030s. Their gas arrives after the current shortage, so the economics depend on the market of 2030 and 2031 rather than today's prices.
